TPC Forecast and Update Times.

The Tornado Prediction Center updates a the forecast in the morning Pacific time. Usually the forecast starts at 1am Pacific time. However it is possible the start time is around 5-6am Pacific time at times. We try to target before at least 10am Eastern time for the days tornado forecast.

Watches are issued hours before and always AFTER the tornado forecast comes out.

The Tornado Prediction Center does not forecast all night events if it's not needed. We will do live broadcasts of them in the future. Please refer to SPC/NOAA for night time forecasts past 11pm Central.
